another week another blog entry lol

i now have a potential surgeon for my top surgery (whenever that ends up happening)! i accompanied my sibling for their consultation for one of their GA surgeries yesterday, as i'm gonna be part of their care team in the weeks of recovery, and their surgeon seems super nice and very knowledgeable and passionate about helping his patients work towards feeling more comfortable in their own skin. AND he also does top surgeries! so if i'm able to get in a word for a specific surgeon for my top surgery, i'll probably put a word in for him if he's available.

unrelated to the potential top surgeon tho we also got katsu sandwiches and cajun fries afterward and they were SUPER fuckin tasty. would recommend.

i've also really gotten into pikmin bloom over the past week??? i never saw myself getting into any pokego-likes since pokego didn't really grab me back in it's heyday but idk man... The Pikmins.... i find that using the step counter to raise pikmin and having different decor pikmin based on where you find seedlings (like, at the store, at a park, at a restaurant, etc etc) is a better hook than 'hey! go walk like 3 miles and MAYBE you'll find like. a handful of geodudes and a pidgey or some shit'. like i get the appeal if you're in a more densely populated area and there are pokemon everywhere and gyms on every street corner but SOME of us are stuck in the suburbs!!! meanwhile w pikmin bloom im like hehehehe Silly Banana Pikmin (from the store, which i can get to easily). btw dm me for my friend code if u play pikmin bloom i need more friends on there

gotta call my dentist to schedule an appt tomorrow (meant to on tuesday but was too busy and i slept WAY too late today to have the energy to call before the line closed) and then next week i'm gonna like. continue my driver's ed and also start looking at applying for jobs bc I Gotta Start Saving. i gotta start solidifying travel plans too bc there are two plays i wanna go see bc, as my sibling put it, my gay little theater friends are in them and i GOTTA support my gay little theater friends (and help financially support their department). i Potentially might try to catch another ghibli movie before ghibli fest ends but we'll see what my work schedule is like, esp since all of the movies fall either midweek or on like. the weekend prior to another planned travel day and idk if i can do back-to-back travel weekends as much as i adore traveling. i also might do a solo train trip again but we'll see. i also wanna drive out to an area with better thrift shops again and get myself a proper project jacket now that i have a candidate for a back patch. ...so many places to go and things to do over the next few months @_@

hoping the michael's here has positions open bc even though retail is hell i don't think i'd hate working at michael's.
