hey! long time no see!

i haven't updated in awhile despite saying i would once i was in recovery... well, recovery wasa bit hectic lol

thankfully aside from being busy with other stuff for the past two months, recovery went well and i'm back at work now! i'm hoping i'll be able to move jobs here soon bc management and staffing at my current one fucking SUCKS. i have an appt to interview for my potential out on thursday, and then HOPEFULLY on friday i'll be able to submit my two weeks.

OH ALSO!!!!!! IN TERMS OF EXCITING STUFF THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME LATELY!!!!! I FUCKIN SAW MCR LATE LAST MONTH!!! i was at LA d1!!! despite having kind of a panic attack bc of the crowds i had SO MUCH FUN!!!! they played new/unreleased shit from paper kingdom at my show!!! i was so happy!!! i am still a LITTLE jealous that NJ got ghost of you tho lol. my wife and i handed out bracelets and it was a ton of fun.

oh yeah also! got kind of. soft-engaged if that makes sense? we don't have rings and we haven't really started planning yet but we know around when we're gonna get married, at least legally. that part is decided mostly bc my wife's insurance runs out once she turns 26 and she'll be hired on for a permanent position with benefits sometime around or shortly after that, so that way we have legal protections as a couple and shared insurance and such.

i also recently moved out of my dad's place... and in with my in-laws! who are very cool and sweet and my MIL basically brought me in as one of her own after my mom passed last year. this is partially just bc i couldn't stand the stress of living with my dad anymore and partially bc my wife plans on moving back in for a little while in a few months while we r still working on getting our footing stable, financially. also bc her current living situation has it's own set of stressors and external pressures.
