HIIII LOL IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG

general life updates!!!

i am now EMPLOYED!!! i have been working in [REDACTED INDUSTRY] for a few months now and even though it can be a pain in the ass sometimes and I am likely to work on jumping to another job within the industry within the next few months, i do really enjoy my work! for privacy i won't share much else about it though.

i have also been dating my gf for just about a year now! we've known each other half our lives and have apparently had mutual feelings for most of that, so we ended up giving dating a shot and it has worked out wonderfully so far :') i love her very very VERY much!!!

my mom also passed shortly before we started dating. i knew it was inevitable since her health has been in decline for a very long time but it still hit like a ton of bricks. as of late next month, it will have been a year since her memorial. i'd like to make it out to the coast and pay my respects at some point, but unfortunately it won't be in the budget for a while. gas and lodging are expensive, especially where we sent her off.

in more positive news though, i will be getting top surgery in june! i busted my ass fighting my insurance for this, so i'm proud and happy to finally be on my way to getting it.

...i also still haven't gotten my driver's license. way too spoiled by being a passenger prince BUT!!! i have at least gotten my permit and plan on taking a swing at the driving test before june.

as for why i haven't updated this site in forever... it's partially time-related (job + home responsibilities) plus i haven't had access to my desktop in a long while. BUT! i'm hoping once i'm off for recovery i might be able to make some progress on here.

idk about any big projects, but i at least wanna tidy up.

i also turn 25 next month which is CRAZYyYyYy. might update my about early just in case i don't get to it next month lol.
